Al-Quds Day

Most of people know 31th August is our National Independence Day of Malaysia. But did all know the 21st August is the Day of Al-Quds??

Jerusalem Day, or the International Day of Al-Quds (Rooz-e jahaany-e Qods in Persian: روز جهانی قدس), is the day that officially Israel take control of the Palestine's land. On this day, the Jews start entered the land widely. Most Anti-Zionist demonstrations are held on this day in Muslim and Arab countries by Muslim and Arab communities around the world on this 21st August every year.

The tragedy started on 21th August 1969 with an Australian guy named Dennis Michael started fire that burning Masjidul Aqsa. The fire burn the minaret and mimbar of Solehudin. All sources of water had been cut off to prevent the Muslims from stopping the fire. But, with the miracleof Allah, Masjidil Aqsa still preserved under His Blessing.

This crime was judged by the Jews by saying Dennis Michael was mentally health, with no action taken under his crime. His was sent back to his country without any punishment and yet all the tragedy og tortune and killing of Palestinian started.

This Jerusalem Day or Al-Quds is not the Islamic religious holiday, it might be celebrated by the Jews, Israelian and the pro-Zionisnme, but it is the day that rememberance of the great tragedy for the Muslims. It's the day that all our Muslim siblings in Palestine live with fear, their freedom are take away and their relatives are killed.

Thus, all the Muslim let take a time to pray for our beloved Muslim in Palestine, even in Kashmir, Iraq, Ambon, Iran or where-ever land for their safety and freedom.
